María Isabel is a law professional specialized in comparative law. Comparative law is a legal research method that seeks to find solutions in foreign legal systems by specifically and contextually adapting them in response to its unique needs. In addition to teaching this subject at Marroquin University, she has been a guest lecturer and researcher at various national and international entities. Our founding partner has extensive experience consulting within the food and beverage industry, environmental matters, public contracting, as well as transparency and accountability. Both her experience within Congress, and her acting as a representative of the private sector, has allowed her to find an uncovered niche market in the region: legislative advocacy.
This is a space that Sigüenza y Carrascosa provides for reflections on the Rule of Law in the region. Here you will find data and opinions from the members of our firm and the network of advisors that we have to understand Latin America from a political legal perspective.
